Preparation Instructions
All people being tested must attend with a national ID or birth certificate and give written consent. No fasting is needed.
Sample Collection
A blood sample is drawn from a vein in your arm into a purple-top (EDTA) tube. Sample requirement: 3-5 ml of EDTA whole blood required. Sample stable for 3 Days at Amibent Temperature and 7 Days at 2 to 8 degree celsius . Duly signed Paternity Consent form and documents mandatory. Photo Identity proof of father and child 2 Passport size photograph attached to consent form, Birth certificate of child In case of alleged father mother declaration required.
About Your Results
Results are usually ready within 9 working days of the sample reaching the lab. You will be notified when your report is released, and you can download it from your patient portal.
